TOLES Preparation Course

This course will help you to build (at the Foundationlevel) or to expand your legal English vocabulary in various areas of law, improve your speaking and writing skills, as well as prepare for and excel at the TOLES exam.

During this course we will learn and practise legal vocabulary and specific grammar (prepositions, phrasal verbs, collocations), analyze cases and legal documents, get familiar with the basic concepts of common law.

The course is divided into three levels: Foundation, Higher, and Advanced. The appropriate level should be chosen based on your level of general English (B1 is recommended for the Foundation course, and B2 or higher for the Higher and Advanced courses), and on how familiar you are with legal English. This course covers all the key areas of law necessary to pass the TOLES exam successfully.

Location: online - Zoom platform, in-person - Montevideo, Uruguay. 

Duration: each course includes 30 hours of training (once or twice per week).
